*SOLD* 1925 Conn C Melody - New Wonder II w/ front F, gold wash bell - WOW

101 year old C Melody!! Rare in this condition...

1925 CG Conn satin silverplated C Melody Saxophone with straight neck w/ microtuner, nail file G# key, front F key, gold wash bell, rolled tone holes.

The Silverplate is in excellent condition throughout and the bright polished area on the bell is lovely, with crisp engraving. There are a few spots of wear on the edges of some guards, B key rod and one side of the bell rim. The neck is in fantastic condition, with only one tiny ding. There is one resolder on the low C# key post that is hidden behind other keywork, so hardly noticeable.

This instrument has been fully overhauled, so is sealing perfectly with new pads. It plays great with a distinctive Conn New Wonder II tone. It comes with a C Melody mouthpiece made by Windcraft that works quite well - it feels like a 5 tip.

The case is all original - the shell is in excellent condition and the latch locks, however the 2 outer clips are not working so I would recommend having this case repaired - for now I am using a locking strap to keep it safe. The interior of the case is original also, so there is not a lot of padding - as is the case with these old cases.

This instruments comes with original case, a Windcraft mouthpiece, ligature, cap, and a 12 month warranty on all mechanical parts and pads.
