Amazing playing 1936 Conn 10M #266k - pre war beauty! It has been fully overhauled and plays amazingly! These are super rare and very sought after because of their awesome thick, resonant tone and tuning is great - there just aren’t any other horns that play quite like this. It features rolled tone holes in wonderful condition.
This horn has been overhauled with black roo pads and plays flawlessly and smoothly throughout the entire range. It was recently serviced at the Music Place also.
It has only a few very minor dings worth mentioning - 3 pinhead size dings on the bow, 3 ever slightly larger (but still very small) on the bow also, a couple of pinhead dings on the body and one very small ding on the neck (hardly noticeable). Their are lots of scratches on this horn however, see pictures. The neckstrap eye has been resoldered and there is lacquer loss over horn. I would estimate the lacquer at 85%+.
Comes in a shaped SKB case and with a 12 month warranty on all mechanical parts and pads.
