1941 Conn 10M Tenor Saxophone - #297k Lady Face

Wonderful condition 1941 (pre-war) Conn 10M Tenor Saxophone that has just been fully overhauled by Phil Noy. This horn has been carefully delacquered and now has a stunning matte finish, that Conn’s do so well! It is an absolutely monstrous horn to play. It’s a huge tone with plenty of response, so not spread and fluffy sounding. It’s actually very focussed and would be well suited to funk, pop as well as jazz, blues styles of course.

The pads a Phil’s signature tan roo pads and feel fantastic. The whole setup is awesome.

There is a small area of damage on the front of the bell, at the seam. It does not seem to affect the horn in any way, however if you wanted to have a small reinforcement soldered on here, I’d be happy to get that done at no extra cost.

It comes with a 12 month warranty on all mechanical parts and pads.

It also comes in a backpack zipup case in very good condition, however I think this horn deserves a more purpose built (left hand bell keys) case. I can source a new one if you need.
