1948 Buescher 400 Top Hat & Cane Alto Saxophone - original lacquer!

1948 Buescher 400 “Top Hat & Cane” model Alto Saxophone in amazing fully overhauled condition. This is a beautiful player too - these are such great sounding and feeling horns - the huge bell flare really adds some vibrancy and a lush bottom end. This horn still has its original lacquer that is at around 70%. It has just been fully overhauled by Rob Davidson at Sax Alive and comes with a 12 month warranty on all mechanical parts and pads. What a tone!!
There are no resolders and no damage, however there was a ding that has been removed from the bow area. 
It is absolutely stunning, with all of the trademark TH&C features including underslung octave arm, silver rods, thumb hook, neckstrap hook and reinforced bell ring, raised Buescher 400 logo, distinctive inner RH side bell keys, snap in Buescher resonators, Norton screw in springs, Art deco engraving and many more!!
Comes in its original Buescher case that could do with some new padding, however it will be padded out with extra foam and bubble wrap for safety!
