Original plating is 90%+ and the horn is in spectacular mechanical condition with absolutely no damage or repairs. The saxophone was overhauled by Phil Noy and has also just been serviced again by Phil, ready for sale. The pads are in exceptional condition and this horn plays amazingly well. It has a vibrant, punchy tone with a fat mid/low range and excellent tuning - the altissimo range is absolutely amazing also. It was owned for many years by a well known Melbourne player.

There is some wear on some of the key touches (pearls) and silver plating surrounding the pearls. The outer edge is slightly sharp to the touch on a few keys. See dropbox photos for close up photos and more details.

It comes in an old wooden case of the era (not original) that is packed out with bubble wrap and foam to keep the horn safe during transit or shipping. It is highly advisable to put this horn in a new, form fitting, protective case.

This saxophone is being sold on consignment, so is sold as is.
