1980s Yamaha YAS-61 Alto Saxophone - purple logo

Excellent condition Yamaha YAS-61 Purple Logo Alto Saxophone from the early 1980s. Made in Japan, this instrument is extremely well made and has been played lightly only. The lacquer is all original and is at about 97%. Amazing for a horn nearly 50 years old.
 
It has just received a full repad with Yamaha pads and is playing very well over the entire range of the horn. It has a lovely focused tone and excellent intonation, with a great altissimo range. This instrument is perfect for an advancing student to professional player.
 
It comes with all accessories including Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, ligature, cap, vintage Yamaha neckstrap, cork grease, pull through cloth and a 12 month warranty on all mechanical parts and pads.
