1985 Selmer Paris Super Action 80 Alto Saxophone - awesome playing horn - much loved and played by a well respected Melbourne musician for many years.

This is a really great playing alto - it gives a lovely sense of weight to the tone and it speaks so easily over the entire range of the horn. Nice amount resistance and can really go off if you want it to! These first series SA80s are very under rated horns and play very similar to the later Mark VIs. I play one, so I would know!

It has just been extensively serviced with about 13 new pads and a new neck cork - so this instrument is ready for a new chapter.

It has approx 30% off its original lacquer. There are 2 very minor dings on the body and one tiny one on the neck. Gold leaf was applied to the inside of the bell and has worn off mostly, but is still a little patchy. This is a very unique horn!

It comes in a functional Hiscox case - the case itself is excellent, however the foam and protective material may need some refreshing soon.

This instrument comes with a 12 month warranty on all mechanical parts and pads.
