P. Mauriat PMXA 67RUL Custom Class Alto Saxophone

P. Mauriat PXMA 67RUL Alto Saxophone in excellent condition. This instrument features rolled tone holes and is unlacquered so is developing a beautiful patina with age. It also has stunning abalone shell pearl touches. It does not have a high F# key. The Super VI neck is in excellent condition - it features grooves in the receiver that help to give it extra punch/resonance.
These instruments are fantastic players and this is an absolutely stand out. It’s punchy in the upper register and still has a warm resonant core throughout. It’s a very versatile horn, but will stand out in a pop/jazz setting. It is in excellent condition throughout, having just had a minor service. 
This horn was owned by Melb jazz legend Kellie Santin for a number of years - she chose it from a large selection of brand new Mauriats at the sax.co.uk warehouse. The current owner just isn’t playing alto and is moving it on. 
It comes in a very good condition Protec case.
