Philipp Hammig Handmade Solid Silver Flute

This beautiful solid silver flute was made by Philip Hammig in Germany in the 1960s. Hammig make some of the finest flutes and piccolos in Europe and this instrument is a wonderful example of the refined workmanship they are capable of. It has been fully serviced now plays superbly over the entire range with a gorgeously warm and stunning brilliant tone in the higher range. 
It features a fully solid silver head, body, foot and mechanism, open holes, offset G, split E mechanism, C foot joint and drawn tone holes. The pads are in excellent condition throughout, having been repadded by Neil Fisenden in the past.
This flute is owned by Melbourne woodwind legend Lachlan Davidson who played it for many years but has moved on to something else. 
It comes with its original headjoint and body tenon sleeves, wooden/leather case, cleaning rod and cloth. It will also come with a 12 month warranty on all mechanical parts and pads.
